Reforestation of the Pagbilao Mangrove

Pagbilao, Quezon–The Philippines’ mangrove forest area is down to 150 from 450 hectares in the 1920s, as most of these areas were turned into fish ponds. In 2003, local communities and Team Energy Foundation launch a reforestation of the Pagbilao mangrove in Quezon under the Carbon Sink Initiative. Video report by INQUIRER.net reporter Anna Valmero.
